Last week, MERASYS participated in Mindtech Vigo – The Metal Industry and Technologies International Trade Fair, a leading event for industrial innovation and advanced manufacturing technologies in Europe.
The trade fair provided an excellent platform to connect with industry leaders, explore R&D collaborations and discuss the latest trends in smart manufacturing, digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) in the automotive sector.
During the event, our CEO, Lorena Rosende, contributed to the Automotive Networking session, sharing insights from the Facendo Plus project. MERASYS is leveraging neural networks and AI technologies to optimize production processes at the Stellantis factory in Vigo, supporting the project’s objectives related to the Factory of the Future, IT connectivity, and infrastructure enhancement.
Facendo Plus is a collaborative initiative designed to strengthen industrial competitiveness and technological innovation in Galicia’s automotive manufacturing sector. By combining expertise from multiple organisations, the project drives smart factory solutions, AI-driven process improvements and digital innovation throughout the region.
