Typology: The project will support the establishment and operation of a land-based closed recirculation aquaculture system facility in Kalba, UAE, designed to produce 250 tonnes of orange-spotted groupers (Epinephelus coioides) annually.
The key challenge is to develop and implement a purification system for recirculating water, particularly targeting the reduction of nitrates, ammonia and other contaminants, to enhance water quality and system efficiency.

Requirements: We are seeking a Spanish company with:

• Proven expertise in water purification technologies tailored for aquaculture facilities.
• Experience in managing and optimising water quality in recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), specifically for species like groupers.
• Innovative solutions or technologies for nitrate removal and overall water quality improvement.
